Dear Audiences,

On March 8, 2024, Ma surprised me with a plan to have Bak Kut Teh in Kepong. Instead of driving, we took the MRT for a fresh experience. We parked at One Utama and hopped on the train to Kepong.

Riding the MRT for the first time was eye-opening. I was fascinated by everything — the movement of the train, the opening doors, and all the people. It inspired me to think about documenting the MRT, a project I hadn’t seen done before.

In Kepong, we enjoyed delicious Bak Kut Teh.

We also had fun with two dustbins in a shopping mall, playing with their revolving openings.

I filmed Ma interacting with them in slow motion, a beautiful motion reminiscent of my smart trash can, Mr. Can, which I used to command to open.

In the evening, Ma and I had an unfiltered conversation over Hokkien Mee, with lights and cameras capturing our chat.

This conversation was a highlight, shedding light on our relationship and shared experiences.

It was a day full of new experiences and meaningful moments with Ma, from exploring public transport to sharing meals and stories.

Warmly, babyPRO
